I mean, I hate Danny Gokey with a passion, but people actually LIKE him.
Bad, bad, bad. Adam Lambert would've been the better choice-- isn't VFTW supposed to vote for the entertaining one? Even monkey boy Kris Allen would've been better...

i agree with hookhoax, i have faithfully voted for whoever you guys pick has been for year, ive never felt the need to comment before now. Danny is a winner with or without the help from you guys, he is the judges fav and has a masive fan base, its almost as if you picked him just so you can take credit for his win, which will happen either way.

For the first time, I cannot/will not be voting. I am very dissapointed in a site that I have loved through the years. And the drawing???? Come on now....its more flattering to him then not...did Danny pay you guys off or something?

No no no!! Danny will sadly make it thru in all likelyhood without any "help". I think it would be more fun to vote for the person who would be the worst for AI! What the hay would they do with Adam Lambert? He's a marketing nightmare and is not the least bit commercial. Danny makes me ill, but not in the same way as the other VFTW candidates. I'm not sure I could stomach voting for Gokey the Groper.

This is a very bad VFTW pick. Because if he ends up winning, this website wil claim victory, but so will American Idol. We can't support a contestant that AI actually is rooting for. This is exactly who they want to see win.

The judges might be praising Allison and Adam, but you all know that in the end, they will turn on them because they aren't what American Idol wants.

Plus the caricature sucks. Caricatures are supposed to exaggerate characteristics...like the fact that he is a chubster. Why the hell is he skinny? I gave up on voting for the VFTW pick after Meghan, she was the last pick that made any sense.

Allison would be a true VFTW victory.

wow this is a HORRIBLE pick for this site! everyone fuckin loves danny (i have NO idea why) and it's just going to contribute to his already huge fan base. anyone else would have been a better choice, cuz the only people that complain about him go to this site. If u read anything else people talk about how much they love him.

Folks, if you don't like Danny's singing or his performance abilities, that's one thing. However, to criticize him because he mentioned the passing of his wife and to consistently call him "douchebag" is very cruel. I understand what this site is all about and yes, it is entertaining; however, when entertainment becomes downright "nasty", then it's no longer entertainment, but a pitiful attempt to really hurt people.

I've lost members of my family to heart disease. My father had a massive heart attack and died when I was a child. Then, I lost my grandfather to congestive heart failure. My mother and my husband have both suffered heart attacks. Thank God they are doing okay. Please have a little more class and sympathy about his wife. Heart disease is very, very serious and one of the leading killers in this country, next to cancer.

I checked out his Foundation online and if he was to win American Idol, he could raise a lot of money for children in need. Do some of you really believe he has other motives and do you have proof? Come 'on - give the guy a break. Losing a loved one anytime is painful, but losing your spouse at such a young age is heartbreaking.

At least he appears to be doing a good deed in trying to raise money for a good cause. So many of the celebrities today waste their money on drugs, alcohol and entanglements with the law.
